Perry’s Take on the Wall Street Bailout
Yesterday and today I’m doing a 4-Man Intensive and Heidi, one of the ladies who joined us for dinner last night, is a sales representative for a division of AIG insurance that’s solid and stable. (In contrast to other parts of AIG which are collapsing.)
She told how, on Friday, she presented all her information to assure a customer and won over a new account - $500,000 of premiums. In a situation where customers want to RUN RUN RUN the other way.
SHE is a hero. When the chips are down, she delivers results and keeps business moving in an uncertain time.
Now at the very same time we’ve got congress and all the yo-yos in Washington DC trying to make American Taxpayers pay for the foolish mistakes of a dozen giant financial institutions, and let THEM and THEIR INVESTORS off the hook.
While I recognize the ability and perhaps necessity of government to moderate the turbulence of what’s going on, to literally “bail these guys out” to the tune of a half trillion dollars is CRIMINAL.
These men are criminals masquerading as heroes. They want YOU to pay for other peoples’ mistakes.
The irony is, the fat cats who created this disaster will keep their 3 million dollar homes in Bel Aire.
And taxpayers will get the bill.
Well…. we can moan about this all day, and YES, you should contact your congressman and tell him what you think of this nonsense because it’s not too late.
But regardless of what fools in Washington DC do or don’t do, you and I have NO choice but to be like Heidi. We MUST make our businesses work. There are no excuses. There are no bailouts. There are no knights on white horses.
YOU ARE THE KNIGHT IN THE WHITE HORSE.
And between what’s in your brain and what you have access to at your fingertips and the freedom you have to ask for Wisdom from Above, there is a solution to the problem you are facing RIGHT NOW.
Never, ever forget that.
